One great thing about visiting the states is getting a chance to have all the food you normally do not have access to. From Chilli Chesse fries to pulled pork you can find anything you want to eat. One spot we normally like to visit while in Florida is Chilis. From drinks to food they always have something to offer that you’re in the mood for. We visited Chilis the first night we arrived in Orlando and we left happy and full.

We arrived and got a seat right away which was nice. One big difference in this area compared to Montreal is the friendly and polite people around you. It’s not just the restaurant but people in the street or walking. Everyone you look at says hi. We sat down and the waitress was friendly and wasn’t afraid to talk with us. After ordering some drinks we sat back after a long drive and just enjoyed the atmosphere. We wanted to get the road off of us and had a few drinks. We had ordered margaritas which were 3 for the price of one. We also ordered the mix plate of appetizers and were shocked with what we got. We had min burgers, boneless chicken wings and spinach dip. The last of the two could not be compared to anything we had before while the mini burgers just made us drool. We couldn’t really complain. We ordered our food and were amazed at the flavour and quantity we get. One of us had a Smokey hickory burger which was so big it was hard to eat while the other had a plate full of beef quesadillas. We enjoyed our food and the best part yet was the price.

At the end of the night we both paid roughly 20 dollars for a full meal, drinks and appetizers. There were no real downfalls to the place as it was near perfection. From appetizers, drinks to food everything was brought in a very good time, no issues and everything went smooth. We would highly recommend anyone visiting the states to try Chilis out but not the Canadian version, it just does not do it justice. Overall the restaurant would earn a 9/10 grade from us as the only real issue was the selection on the menu didn’t include much of a variety.
